Each film culminating in the convergence of an installation of the material used in the structure of the apartments. WW were asked to mirror this visual device starting with abstract musical motifs and bringing these elements together to a more coherent climax.
In this film Stuart Piercy of Piercy&Company discusses the influences and inspiration behind the interior design of five apartments within the BBC Television Centre scheme by Stanhope.
The film explores Piercy&Company's expressive and tactile natural material palette of fluted marble and textured timber and the studio's approach of avoiding novelty in favour of honest materials which are solid and timeless, much like the beautiful original TV Centre building which houses the apartments.
These films were used within an exclusive a gallery exhibit and combined with sculptural pieces.
